Ashley and Eric were the winners of my drawing for a free engagement session from the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show back in January. I’ve been looking forward to their shoot for awhile now. We first talked after the show when it was still freezing and snow covered. We decided to wait until the weather was nice – and boy was it.
I met them at the IMA one spring evening for the session. We picked a great day – despite the temp being pretty hot for May. The place was hopping with people out taking photos and enjoying the gorgeous day. We spent some time strolling around and taking photos. They are a great couple and a pleasure to photograph. Thanks you guys for the awesome session! They are getting married on August 7th in Indy.

So I try to stay involved in a couple of different forums and online communities with other photographers. It’s great to see what others are doing and get advice and feedback from people who are in the same boat as you.
I posted some of my shots from Lindsey and Brad’s E-session on my one of my favorite forums – Photography Schoolhouse and it won 2nd place Photo of the Week!!!
Check it out on the homepage of their site: Photography Schoolhouse
Whoohoo!!!!
Where do I begin? I’ve know Lindsey since we were 6 years old, she’s been my best friend and my roommate over the years. I have too many stories and memories to even know where to begin to explain how amazing she is , so I’ll spare you the details. I knew it would take a special guy to win her over, and she’s definitely found that in Brad. I couldn’t wish for a better guy for Lindsey. So without getting too mushy on everyone I will say congrats to you both and I can’t wait to be part of your wedding in November.
Lindsey has always been the biggest fan of Christmas of anyone I’ve known. She would literally listen to Christmas music year round if we let her. So I had a feeling that pictures in the snow would be perfect for engagement photos. Although it wasn’t a White Christmas this year, we did get some serious snow through town this past Friday and we decided to venture out. Kudos to Lindsey and Brad for braving the cold ( I think it was about 11 degrees) and on top of that for rolling around in the snow for me 🙂 Love you guys…. Here are some of my favorites …..
