Brittney and Aaron : Wedding – Seymour, IN 7/7/12

You may remember this amazing couple from their gorgeous engagement session on Indiana State’s Campus this past October. ( you can see those HERE)

The weather was a little more extreme for their wedding day…. and by a little, I mean A LOT! The heat index was 110 on the day of their wedding! It was the hottest day of the year and definitely the hottest day I’ve ever shot. They were troopers though! We tried to minimize our time outside but still some great outdoor shots. Thank you to the entire wedding party for braving the heat.

Below are some of my favorite images from their day! Thanks again to Brittney and Aaron as well as their families for allowing me to be a part of their big day!

We got a visit from their dog Brody after the ceremony for a few pics! Then it was off to Schnieder’s Nursery with the wedding party for some photos!

The image on the left is pre-ceremony. They didn’t want to see each other, but joined for a prayer together.

Then it was off to the reception at Pewter Hall! I’ve shot a reception here every year since 2009! I’ll be back again in Sept. 2013!

Jackie and Mark : Wedding – Chicago, IL 6/30/12

Not sure where to start this one…. sit back it could be a long post…..

Jackie and I met in college at IU where we played club volleyball together. We’ve spent many long hours on car rides and in the gym together over the years. There also may or may not have been a little partying mixed in there 🙂 It was college after all…

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Mark since our IU days as well as he was dating Jackie. The two of them are simply two of the greatest people I know. They are a blast to be around, kind hearted and most importantly perfect for each other.

I felt truly honored to be able to photograph their wedding and share a part of their day. Thank you to Jackie, Mark and both of your families.

Here are some of my favorites (ok alot of my favorites) from their wedding. Congrats you two!

Ok – I might have been a little obsessed with these shoes, but can you blame me?! And paired with her mother’s pearls = perfection 🙂

Meanwhile… over in Mark’s room ….

I headed out with the guys for some pictures around the Allerton

We might have gotten a little distracted and ended up at the bar down the street…. oops…

Then it was back to the hotel to check in on the ladies 🙂

PS – this shot below is one of my all time favorite bridal shots

And we were off to the GORGEOUS Holy Name Cathedral for the wedding ceremony

And then it was off to the Nature Boardwalk and the Belmont Harbor on the way to the reception!

We arrived at Misericordia for the reception… but first a stop in their gorgeous garden outside

Reception time! Mark’s brother Craig lives at Misericordia and was nice enough to allow all the guests to invade his home:) The entire staff was amazing, and considering how many weddings I’ve attended that’s a big compliment. They were one of, if not the best, most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered at a wedding reception.

I couldn’t resist posting this volleyball reunion pic! Jackie, Bridget, Laura and Me!

And finally time for a sparkler exit to end the evening!

Tara and Connor : Wedding – North Vernon, IN 5/19/12

Where to start?! This wedding was like a reunion for me! Both Tara and Connor are from my hometown and were high school sweethearts. Connor is actually my second cousin and I know this will make me sound old, but I couldn’t believe it when I heard he was getting married! In my mind he’s still 5 or 6 running around their house as his sisters and I were playing house or watching movies.

So not only did I know the couple, but I was surrounded by relatives and hometown friends I hadn’t seen forever. It’s always a blessing when you get to shoot with amazing people and amazing families. Tara was a stunning bride and when you know the whole bridal party it sure makes things easy! Big props to Tara’s dad who was the lighting genius behind the reception – the Parish Center looked gorgeous!

I am so honored to have been a part of their day. I even got to bust some moves on the dance floor with Connor’s dad 🙂

Below are some of my favorites! Congrats again to Mr. and Mrs. Ertel!

Venue : St. Mary’s Church – North Vernon, IN

Hair Salon : Hair It Is

Time for the ceremony!!!

And then it was off to the reception!
