Let the blogging continue with one of my amazing 2011 couples – Brooke and Mike. I still need to blog their November wedding, but first up are their engagement photos that we shot just a couple weeks before the big day. It was a COLD day in late October when we shot these so thanks to them for braving the weather for some great shots!

Well I’ve done my weddings and engagements recap, so naturally it’s time for portraits! Several of these sessions I never blogged, so sit back and enjoy these beautiful families and adorable kiddos!

So apparently I forgot to blog this session! WHAT?! This was one of my most fav engagement sessions EVER! I know I’ve shared it on Facebook, but apparently I spaced the blog entry…. oops… I’ve already thanked them like 20 times, but thanks again to Sarah and David for letting me try some crazy shots in the rain – I absolutely love the results.
I knew the Bride to Be, Sarah, from our days at IU working for RecSports as intramural volleyball refs (yep we were cool). I was thrilled when she contacted me about shooting her March wedding – I know she’s going to be a beautiful bride. She is so full of energy (see photos below) that you just can’t help smile when you’re around her. Bravo David for snagging this lovely lady!
Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

From the stadium we headed to the canal… it was about this time that it started to sprinkle but we powered through it 🙂

And then the rain started coming down harder so we decided to call it a wrap and head back the car…. or so they thought. When we got back to the parking lot it was a steady rain and I said ” I really want to try something – would you guys be up for it?”…. and this is why I love them – they immediately said ” Sure!”…… and so I pulled out my rain covers and set up this shot which is one of my all time favorites 🙂
