I was about to blog their wedding and I realized that I never blogged their engagement session! I met Michelle & Steve on a gorgeous summer day in Lincoln Park. We roamed around the South Pond area taking in the skyline view and gorgeous light before heading over to North Ave Beach for sunset. The sky was pretty amazing this night and made for some great skyline photos as the city lights started to come up.
Here are some of my favorites! Stay tuned for their wedding photos!
You may remember Laura & Tom from their spring engagement session (see that HERE). I couldn’t wait for their wedding day and the amazing city views from their wedding venue. They had to do a change of plans when their original venue closed just months earlier with no warning. But, after you see these photos I think you’ll agree the change was okay!
We had beautiful blue skies as we headed out around town for photos before the ceremony. I had crossed all my fingers and toes for good weather as I knew the city background would be spectacular on the rooftop. Guests soaked in the views while they said their I do’s and then had cocktail hour after as the sun set over the city.
We headed downstairs to continue the celebrations and dance the night away!

We had a gorgeous Chicago day for this engagement session! I met the bride and groom to be at LaSalle Bridge for some shot with the amazing architecture and riverwalk.
From there we headed over to Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain. The sunset created an amazing cotton candy sky over the city. I wish I could have this sky every day!
Stay tuned for their September wedding!
