Meet Andi & Jaan! Andi and I go way back to our high school days, so I was thrilled when she reached out to me about shooting their wedding! You may remember them from their engagement session (you can see it HERE).
Although they now live in Texas, they decided to marry in the Chicago area where they used to live and were closer to family. We had a beautiful summer day for their outdoor ceremony. And of course we had to take advantage of the outdoor options at the venue and the bridges (hence the name seven bridges!). This was one of the most gorgeous sunsets of the year!
Here are some of my favorites from the big day!

One of my previous wedding couples!!!
Although I shoot at Lincoln Park often, I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of it. There is so much to explore and it doesn’t hurt when you have an amazing couple to work with!
I met Ali & Josh on a gorgeous Chicago day. We spent the afternoon roaming around and talking about their upcoming wedding (stay tuned for that later on the blog). Josh was a groomsmen at a previous wedding and we have some friends in common so I hardly felt as though I was even working on this one! It’s always fun when clients become friends!
Here are some of my favorites!
These two should look familiar from their engagement session in previous post. After having a blast during that session I wouldn’t wait for the wedding day to come!
We met them at their local church where Michelle was getting ready. The morning was full of emotions before she walked down the aisle to say I do! Post ceremony we headed to Lake Katherine for some photos with the wedding party.
The reception kicked off at Oak Lawn Hilton with cocktail hour followed by the most amazing intros of the year. They got the announcer for the Chicago Bulls, Ray Clay, to record the wedding party introductions! So it only made sense to throw out some mini basketballs to the crowd! Dinner and dancing followed!
Here are some of my favorites from their day. You may notice several of Grandma. She was amazing, tore up the dance floor and has the most amazing expressions. I hope to one day be as cool as she is!
