If rain on your wedding day is lucky than these two hit the jackpot! It rained all morning, all day and all evening. But that wasn’t going to stop them from having an amazing wedding day! They were surrounded by the people that love and care for them and at the end of the day that’s all that matters. It also didn’t hurt that the front of the building is covered so we still got some outdoor photos!
From their first look, to their ketubah ceremony and rocking dance floor these two were connected the whole day. I often see my couples getting pulled all over the places and end up spending half the time on opposite sides of the room trying to make it to all their guests. I love that these two were side by side all night. When I looked at the dance floor they were there together, during dinner they were laughing and sharing moments at their table and when I left for the night they were walking hand in hand together back inside after our night photos. #relationshipgoals

I figure since these two are getting married this month I should finally blog their engagement session! You may remember them from their proposal (see that here). This time was a little easier as I wasn’t trying to hide behind trash barrels so Jackie wouldn’t see me!
We started out at Map Room which just so happens to be their neighbor so let’s just say they’ve spent some time here! And it’s a super cool bar!
From there we wandered around the neighborhood stopping here and there. And they didn’t even blink an eye when I suggested we hang out under the train tracks!
Can’t wait for the big day! Here are some of my favorites.
Meet Ronit & Jonathan! I instantly fell in love with these two. They are two of the kindest, sweetest people on earth. And seeing them together makes you believe that true love exists! I don’t mean to get sappy, but seriously the way Jonathan couldn’t take his eyes of her all day is what every girl wants.
They were married at the Women’s Club of Evanston which is a gorgeous venue. We lucked out with the weather and snuck over by the lake for some photos with just the bride and groom before guests arrived. This might be my favorite Ketubah signing ever. So much joy, so many toasts and lots and lots of smiles and laughs!
After the ceremony the party got started with cocktail hour and straight into toasts and the Hora which is always a blast! The dance floor was packed until the very end of the night when friends read from personalized prayer books for a final blessing for the newlyweds.
Congrats to Ronit & Jonathan and thank you for letting me capture your day!
