Meet Kaia & Dave! Dave and I go way back to our IU days. So when my sister and I planned a trip to Colorado I of course wanted to do a session while I was there. Luckily Dave and his new bride Kaia volunteered to model for me! The plan was to get them some gorgeous shots in the mountains since they had gotten married a few weeks earlier in Indiana. Mother Nature had other ideas.

The day before it started snowing, and snowing and continued to snow throughout the day of our session. Which meant some of the roads weren’t open and visibility higher up was zero, crushing our hopes for some of the views we wanted. But we went to Plan B! They met us in Vail where my sister and I were staying and we explored the village as the snow fell. All the fall colors where still out in full effect so we couldn’t have planned it if tried!
