You may remember the wonderful Rebecca and Nathan from their Indianapolis engagement session. You can see that HERE if you missed it.

I couldn’t wait for their winter wedding! The year before I shot on the same weekend and it was covered in snow, but as the date approached things had started to melt away. But I can’t complain because it turned out to be 50 degrees on their wedding day! If we couldn’t get snow at least it was warm enough to be outside!

I met everyone at Richwood Plantation for getting ready photos and some group shots before the ceremony. These two are the nicest sweetest people around and it came as no suprise that their families and wedding party were amazing as well! On our drive home I even commented on what an awesome wedding party they were to work with!

And then it got a little bit crazy as I went to the wrong church!!! FYI there are two Prince of Peace churches in Madison, IN. I never in a million years would have thought to check that in a small town, but I learned my lesson real quick! FYI Google maps only brought up one which is where I went…. and about 15 mintues out of my way. Luckily we made it just in time …. I literally sprinted from the parking lot to the front of the church just as the processional began.

I have to give a shout out to my sister Sarah who was my assistant for the day. She was a huge helping me arrange dresses and veils and being my lighting assistant. Thanks Sarah!

And then guys headed off to the church while we did a few photos with the ladies at Richwood.

And then it was off the ceremony….. barely!

And then we headed downtown Madison for some photos. I cannot stress how much I absolutely love when I get some time with just the Bride and Groom. I always ask for it, but I don’t always get it haha.  This is my happy time. It’s time to get creative and give them a few minutes away from everyone to just let them breathe and take it all in that they just got married. It’s less stressful for them because their aren’t 20 set of eyes watching their every move either. These are always my favorite photos of the day and this day did not dissapoint.

Then we headed back to Richwood Plantation for a few pics out front before the party started!

Barry and Diane did an amazing job tranforming the reception room into a pink and white winter wonderland! I could have shot details all day!

After cake cutting we snuck back out with the whole wedding party before the sun set for a few fun ones!

And back to the reception for some toast and dancing!
