Well if I’m going to be stuck inside for a few weeks at least I have plenty of things to blog for you!

First up is the awesome wedding of Felicity and Sergio. Although they were living in the UK at the time they came to Chicago to marry as they used to live here and had friends and family close by who were attending.

They knew the guest list would be small so they went in search of a place for an intimate indoor ceremony (it was February after all) and found a great Airbnb in Lincoln Park that seemed just right! They were able to say their I do’s and have a celebratory drink with everyone after.

Despite the incredibly cold temps, we ventured outside. I have to give praise to the whole group, but especially Felicity as she didn’t even seemed phased by the cold on her bare arms. That Wisconsin childhood really prepped her for this exact moment!

We strolled around the park with everyone and as the sun went down the three of us headed downtown while everyone else went in search of warmth. It’s no secret that I love photos downtown when all the city lights come up, but before it’s pitch black. It’s magical, and we timed it just right! From there we headed off to The Loyalist in the West Loop for cocktails and dinner. The private room they have there is very cool for anyone looking for a smaller space!
